    Two Tiny Feature Requests

Hi, Is there any chance you could make the following VERY small changes? 1. I'd like there to be an install option which remembers that I do NOT want AnyDVD to autostart every time I boot up? The current deal is that with each update, it automatically sets this to autostart, which is annoying...

Swamp Thing (1080) Not Being Read

I've got an old DVD for the movie Swamp Thing. It comes with 2 NTSC disks... one formatted for old television and the other labelled '1080p'... which is letterboxed. Both play fine on a DVD player. The 'television' one ripped fine. But the 1080p disk is not even being read by AnyDVD. Since it...

Avengers Age Of Ultron: No File

I run into this occasionally, so I'm not sure if it's AnyDVD or the source DVD or CloneDVD or -what-. Any guidance would be appreciated. Using latest builds of CloneDVD and AnyDVD. (Sorry, not at that PC right now, can't give exact #s, but I get the email updates all the time... 4.7..x?) I...

    A little chaos

I'm having the same issue as Avengers Rock. 7.6.4.0 It will not rip at all. "the filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect" Attaching logfile.

    Child 44

WOW, now that's what I call -service-. 7.6.2.1 seems to work. I haven't played the burned DVD yet, but it ripped fine (and then burned without error in CloneDVD.) Job well done, sir.

Same Problem: Won't Rip From AnyDVD 7.6.2.0 Do you (Slysoft) need another log file? Having the same issue... won't rip to HD from original DVD via AnyDVD. Gets to prox. 3% and then gives File I/O error dialog with big red 'X'. Brand new DVD.

    Ariadne Auf Naxos

DVD Shrink worked. I had never used it before... boy is that a convoluted process. The 'trick' was that DVD Shrink would not work unless I omitted either the DTS -or- the AC 5.1 soundtracks. If both were selected, even with compression, it wouldn't work. I've been using CloneDVD for 10...

    Ariadne Auf Naxos

Wow, I didn't even know you could do that. Handy tip. Sadly, however, same result. Something like "Error 1 TCE" in the Details section. Anything else to try?

    Ariadne Auf Naxos

I did. Since I started this thread I've been using AnyDVD 7.6.0.0 to rip to HD. I then tried making the DVD with CloneDVD 2.9.3.0. (the log from that is the first reply in this thread) and then with .3.1. Same results each time. Anything else?

    Ariadne Auf Naxos

Thanks. Tried re-ripping. Same result... AnyDVD appears to 'work'. But in CloneDVD .3.1... gets to 99% and then gives the error. Any other ideas?

    Ariadne Auf Naxos

Downloaded .3.1. Same issue. Here is AnyDVD log from 7.6.0.0. Please advise when able. Thanks.

Anyone? Didn't I provide enough info to troubleshoot?

    Ariadne Auf Naxos

Ripped with AnyDVD. No problem. Original DVD plays fine. Went into CloneDVD. Gets to 99% and then gives an error. Attached is error log.

    DVD "Disconnect"

FYI... I just re-tried the same disc (MUD) with latest version ( .3?) DVD name appears in the drive selector box as per usual and it ripped fine. Thanks
  15. S

    DVD "Disconnect"

Yes. Plays fine on DVD player. Not in PC.
  16. S

    DVD "Disconnect"

THIS IS THE MOVIE 'MUD'. I'm just telling you that in the DVD selector it shows the text '(Disconnect)'. -Usually- it will show the name of the video or DVD_VOLUME.

    DVD "Disconnect"

Having a similar issue with .2.0 (originally opened in MUD thread) In the drive selector box, it usually will show the DVD Volume (which is usually the movie name or DVD_VIDEO.) In this case it shows (Disconnect) And when I select 'Rip Image To Hard Disk', I get an error box 'Drive D: Is Not...

    PI Movie Error

That's the only option I ever use. What other option is there, other than ISO? (which I never use) ---JC

    PI Movie Error

Nope. Man, am I sick o' -this- disc. Haven't had this much trouble with -any- disc in 2-3 years. Attached is CloneDVD log as the error screen requests. Any other ideas? ---JC

    PI Movie Error

OK. Here's the AnyDVD log. The actual error comes in CloneDVD @ 99%... right -before- the actual burning normally begins. TC IFO 5 TIA, ---JC
