Yes, when I ripped with anydvd it worked fine. Not always the case though. John Wick did not rip correctly with anydvd and I had no way of knowing it didn't work until I tried to watch it.

Doesn't work with all discs though. Gone Girl would be ripped by imgburn but when mounted with anydvd and unencrypted, powerdvd 14 would claim it was corrupted. Imgburn gave 2 protection warnings instead of the normal 1 on this disc as well. I think maybe because it has BD+ maybe?

I'm curious how you get imgburn to copy a protected disc. Once imgburn shows a message that the disc is protected, then what?

I just thought it was kind of wierd how some work and some don't. All the same Verbatim discs. All burned at 2x (2x is the only option). The drive is only about a year old. Oh well. If I buy a stand alone blu ray player can you suggest any that are better than other? Thanks for the reply.

Ya I think I might. I'm trying to back it up now and it's read speed is 0.50 MB/s. It's gonna take like 4 days at this rate. I'll get another copy and see if it's better. Thanks for everyones info

cleaned the disc (again) with mild soap and let air dry and I finally got it to work

I just got the new Paranormal Activity blu-ray and updated to anydvd hd version 6.6.0.9 and it won't do it. The disc itself almost locks up my computer. Any ideas of when anydvd hd may be able to do this title?
