    It was solved, (for me) yesterday morning with an update of AGV. Was then allowed to install latest beta without a hicup....:D

    I've read somewhere that they may have changed the dvd layering process on Memorex produced DVDs where the layer break access has been changed. Never the less, I only recommend Verbatim DL made in Singapore. IMO, all others are of suspect quality.

    If you have been successful with the same software in the past, then the simplest explanation is the media you are using. Which, by the way, you haven't said what it is or your burning speed.

    AnyDVD is primarily a decrypter. It is secondarily a "ripper". One would have better success using CloneDVD in conjunction with AnyDVD for their rips to HD.:)

    Since you are positive it is not the media, then I guess you don't have a problem. Memorex and TDK are two of the worst brands of DVDs available to the general public(IMNSHO).
