    There are no burned in subtitles in Logan. Check your subtitle settings in your media player. They're probably enabled. I usually set my media player to play only Forced subtitles in LAV.

    EAC runs into a suspicious position on track 1 and is unable to continue ripping the disc. I was able to extract it with dbpoweramp in Defective by Design mode, but I'd like to be able to do a proper rip.

    Firmware updates are for Hardware, not Software. There is currently no easy way to compress a blu-ray movie, at least not with a single program. Guides exist on these forums if you wish to do so.
