I've probably only seen his happen once or twice over the years, but usually fixed in a couple days. It's odd that I could get it to work with a DVD drive, but not in a bluray.

James, some of us also got it to work perfect in a dvd drive, just not the bluray drives. I also tried to get a log with the one that worked, but no luck.

And some of us did get the beta to work fine, but using only a dvd drive, not a bluray drive. Try it out, I just watched the backup. And in the dvd drive, it reads within seconds, however I tried to let it run for an hour getting a log file and it would stall.

Odd. Try it with the beta too. Can't hurt. Also, have had it in the computer I just worked with for 30 minutes now trying to get a log, just keeps spinning. Hope some of this makes sense to the Slysoft folks. I thought if it read enough to back it up that a log file would be easy.

It's all working here, 30 minutes into it.

Watching it as we speak. Even used Clone at the same time. So we know with regular dvd readers it works with the official and beta versions, just not Bluray drives so far. I still can't get a log, it just spins doing that.

Yep, you just need a bluray drive is all. They read all formats.

I have for years as well, way back when. This kind of thing rarely happens but is usually quickly solved.

Again, just to clarify we KNOW that, we're just sharing ways we are trying to get it to work until a fix is done. And hopefully the people who actually work on the software can see what has been tried and how different things are reacting to help them work it out. Nitewulf, that didn't work...

Ok to update, after I got it on HD and loaded into Clone DVD, let it repair what it needed, when I hit "Go" it gave another error and said "make sure all the files reperesent a properly mastered DVD." I'll try what you said Nitewulf. Going to watch it tonight anyway.
