The latest 1709 Windows 10 udpate (Fall Creators Update) might have fixed exclusive mode, if you'd like to try it. Myself, I'm good with windowed mode, it's quicker to switch and I don't see advantages to exclusive anymore, since windowed full screen can now do 10-bit output.

The problem discussed in this thread has to do with madVR's fullscreen exclusive mode. The fix for that is to switch to windowed mode and clear timings database in ReClock. What problem are you having?

I think people who are seeing this "fixed" when switching to 24Hz instead of 23Hz in their graphics card are just experiencing a happy coincidence. ReClock reads the display refresh as 24.000, so it adapts the media speed for that refresh. But the graphics card will most likely not be refreshing...

What's broken exactly? If it's the OP's problem, and disabling FSE doesn't fix it, try clearing the timings database in ReClock.

This is sad news indeed. AFAIK this option in Reclock hasn't worked for a while, instead you need to use WASAPI exclusive if you need to use the function out to an HDMI receiver.

Are you using foobar2000 with ReClock? Some sort of DirectShow plugin? Anyway, can't you just set ReClock to output 96kHz? That's what I do. I have an AMD card but all it receives from ReClock is 96kHz.

The spelling was actually like that on the drives themselves, that's why everyone "misspells" it. I think it's probably just a nonstandard romanization of the original Japanese. Phonetically, it's closer even.

What you are not getting is that there's no need to reencode anything. Or even rip. You can play directly from a backed up disc (a blu-ray spec disc even) with players like MPC-HC. You don't seem to have realized that yet. It's been true for years. Other things you can do is remux (not reencode)...
