I experienced some problems with Austin Powers Part 1. My system crashed right at the beginning (FBI warning) with the most recent ATI driver and newest Power DVD patch. However, it worked fine for me with TMT. I had to switch to TMT since Power DVD 7 ultra removed the HD DVD playback:(

Is your PC connected to the internet? For the first one new keys are needed which require internet access. For GONY I don't know. Which Power DVD have you installed on your system? Maybe an update would fix the issue. Does the movie work when you try to play the original disc with Power DVD...

For my Pioneer drive it pretty much depends on that fact whether it's a single or double layer disc. However, as far as i can remember something about 16 was the peak for me.....

I had no problems with Saw IV RC A. I uesed Power DVD 7 3319a fpr playback. Maybe you could roll back to an older version. Does it work with the original disc oder Any DVD enanbled/ disabled?

Do you have the latest patches for Power DVD installed?

I had no probs with the German trilogy. I used the Toshiba drive for backup.

You will need a drive that can read the specific format. If you want to read HD DVDs you need a HD DVD drive. If you want to read Blu-ray Discs you will need a Blu-ray drive. If you want to read Blu-ray and HD DVD you will need a combo drive. All of those drives still can read regular DVDs...

It's a Warner title. So there probably won't be any issues. However, we'll have to wait and see what people say who have already tested the disc....

Very nice job. I really like that the list of "Movies that might not work properly" disappears that fast. Especially the HD section seems to be very quick at that. (You have to consider that there's lot more DVD than HD releases though.) Always been a big fan of the nice work that is done here;)

The GGC H20LRB by LG is available for a good price. It also can read HD DVDs. Pioneer's BDC 202 has about the same price (at least over here in Germany) but can only read Blu-ray Discs. Can't say anything about the quality of the LG but my Pioneer managed to read all BDs I've tried so far...
