I can sympathize with both sides of this discussion... I supported Slysoft & purchased the LTL about 10 years ago... not sure I will buy another 'LTL' at full price... seems a discounted deal (half-price would be generous) for the old LTL-holders would be a diplomatic thing to do..??... I...

I got it to rip OK... the titlesets are mixed up, tho... the last chapter (16) needs to be inserted somewhere in the middle; but it appears after the credits..??... otherwise, the entire movie appears to be complete... but have not confirmed that, yet.

I didn't notice it before, but there's a tiny fracture in the disc, right along the outside edge... the disc otherwise appears brand-new. Never got an error message like this before with a defective disc..??

I didn't watch the process the entire time; but I remember it took 2-3 minutes at the "0% processed" mark before it ever started... I believe the display was "repairing dvd structure" during the rip... I'd need to do it again to be sure; but when it got to 40%, it stayed there for 3-4 minutes...

2nd attempt... same result... 40% rip & get same error message as stated in my previous post.

just installed beta 7182; got to 40% completed rip of Jack Reacher & got AnyDVD Ripper error screen message "NavigationPack 6 0 11237 74 VOBU 4 0 11237 Clone 6" drive is set region 1; I'm gonna re-boot again, & give it another try; but I'm posting this first... logfile attached.

I just finished FLIGHT with v7142... no prob.

OK... updated log files; drive set to region 1

yes.... in device mngr.... that's where I got the warning.... said I'm allowed 5 changes to region setting... didn't say what happens at that point..?? I've ripped 1000+ titles with this drive & no problems before... I did try another rip of Downton after resetting drive... exact same error...

...I'm in USA; it's a PBS disc ("Masterpiece/Carnival")... doesn't give country of origin. I set drive to region 1 (USA)... warning said I can only change region 2 more times..??... that sucks.

disk 3 of the same Downton Abbey series errors out at 31% complete... same error message as above (different numbers at end)... unlikely I would have a 2nd new bad disc..??... I am attaching the log file from this disc.

new release today: Downton Abbey s3d1... I installed beta 7141; got same error message at 67% rip completion "File IO 3 VTS_01_1.VOB 5446754304 544768" disk 2 of the same series ripped fine with the 7140 version... it's a brand-new disk; but maybe defective..??...log file attached. thx... Robb

...if you are referring to my brief question about creating the logfile...sorry if it offended you; I didn't realize this feature didn't appear while the rip was in progress... it wasn't the reason I posted, & the rest of my post seems valid for discussion of this beta version... this 2009...

re-start... re-rip... still no go on this title.... logfile attached

just did a rip of a new release "The Loved One" (2009)... 7083 beta rips it; but I can't process the rip... the VOB files play fine....did a re-start, & trying it again... WHERE is the log file option..??... can't find it.
