My issue was that the Hide CDR Media feature was grey. After reading the Help File I saw the bit about these features being disabled in the US and Japan. Thanks to the Slysoft crew for the input on this matter and keep up the good work.

Read the Help file from Slysoft it says that those features are all disabled if you live in the US or Japan .

How are we supposed to use these features if they are disabled? According to the help file this feature along with the Protected PC Game profile and Hide CD-R media are disabled if you live in the US or Japan. There is no RegKiller file for the 5x series of CloneCD so modifying the Registry or...

The Amplify Weak Sectors seems to work the Hide CDR Media worked when I first installed CloneCD but not now. Just for the heck of it I tried installing it on one of my other machines and everything seems to work on it. Works for me on my Intel box but not on my AMD machine so go figure .

It says they are disabled on Elbys site but I see nothing like this on the Slysoft page. I have 5.3.0.1 and I have the Protected CD icon. Nevermind after searching some more I found the info you were talking about that sucks but I wonder why I have the icon.

I have been using the Bitsetting function in Nero for several years now and never had a problem. Also dont forget using cheap media will cause problems.

Roxio products are known to cause problems with alot of programs.

It will work with Any DVD if you have the 1.37 Patin Couffin Driver but Clone DVD is by far a better product.If you want to do a 1:1 backup on a DL disc Clone CD works great and will copy the original Layer Break position.

I have Norton Internet Security, Spy Sweeper and System Mechanic 7 running and dont have any issues.
