Sounds like a job for Nero Vision or preferably ConvertXtoDVD...several movies I would assume are avi's, not a DVD compliant format.

Make sure you are using the most current version of AnyDVD/CloneDVD2...they should be able to handle this one. If not and you get a successful rip, try running the VIDEO_TS.IFO through VobBlanker.

Glad you got it sorted...but if I were you I'd put the Memorex media away and run. BTW, why do you need DL media? Most movies can easily be put onto a SL disc with little or no compression...especially when removing things you don't need such as extra audio tracks, subtitles, menus and special...

I wouldn't trust any other brand except Verbatim for my DL burning. With that said, the running time of the movie doesn't have as much to do with your backup as does the file size. You can cut out the menus and special features to reduce the size of file and compression needed to fit the movie...

Use DVD Decrypter to rip in ISO read mode and then use ISO write mode to burn. Easy peasy.

What brand DVD's are you using and is your firmware up to date for your burner?

What brand media are you using? Skipping, pausing, stuttering and pixellation are usually due to cheap media. I would recomment Verbatim.

Wouldn't dream of it...my free version works just fine.
