    Ripping BD Offline Help?

Thanks for replying. So for example, if I install the last version of AnyDVD (8.3.1.0), it can decrypt BDs offline that were released prior to that version without having to connect to OPD? This is only true if it is anything but BD+ protection, is that what you're saying? To be reasonably fair...

    Ripping BD Offline Help?

So after going through the forum, there were only a few threads that asked the question whether AnyDVD can decrypt BDs in the background for ripping when not connected to the internet. I think the short answer is no, for newer discs anyways. It also stated that one option would be to have it...

    Keep Copy Protection Explaination?

I found a post a while back. It said it doesn't keep the protection, so I was confused why there would be an option that says what it should do, but didn't: https://forum.redfox.bz/threads/keep-protection-for-dvds.73760/ Anyways, lets say the modern version of RedFox does do what it says now...

    Keep Copy Protection Explaination?

What I originally though as keeping the discs original encryption turns out not to be the case from a thread made long ago that I've read by someone else. Anyone know what it does exactly and can elaborate on it? Much appreciated.

    Inconsistency in AnyDVD_log

Also, I would like to know how to unzip the ISO file. I clearly left the keep protection box unchecked, so I don't know why it still doesn't work. It won't play on VLC like it does for DVDISOs when I drag it to my desktop icon. 7-Zip 9.20 can't seem to extract the BDISO, but DVDISOs work.

    Inconsistency in AnyDVD_log

I haven't used AnyDVD very often as of yet, but is creating the log file before or after the rip the same thing? Does ripping it after provide more info or difference in anyway? These were the questions I've been thinking of when I was experimenting. Keep in mind that this was a BDISO rip. I've...

Anyone know if the Certificate Folder in BDMV is important?

Is there anyway to recreate it, or do we have to rip again?

Anyone know if the Certificate Folder in BDMV is important?

Does it effect how the disc plays or cause problems if I decide to burn it on a blank BD disc?

    AnyDVD Log File

Thanks for the answers. I hope AnyDVD doesn't try to "fix" the unreadable sectors like what other programs on the market does. I like to keep everything as true to the original source as possible. I'd rather have that one sector skipped rather than have it modify or create its own...

    AnyDVD Log File

Thank you for your answer. Would be really nice if the development team could add a feature to allow users to set how many retries they would like to reread a sector that might not have been necessarily a "bad" or "fake" sector. Because sometimes it might just be dirt or fingerprints on the...

    AnyDVD Log File

I'm kind of new to using AnyDVD. Does anyone know if the log file for a rip includes sectors that were unreadable in it if there were any? For example, if I know read errors will occur from a DVD or Blu Ray because there a scratch on it, will the log tell me which sectors were unreadable because...

Correct way to rip DVDISO/BDISO using DVD Decrypter + AnyDVD?

Yes, I know you can use Elby with Decrypter by Lighting UK to rip, but there were many different opinions on which are the correct options to enable and disable. I just prefer the interface and the log style when it rips. It tells you everything you need to know about the rip session, like which...

Correct way to rip DVDISO/BDISO using DVD Decrypter + AnyDVD?

AnyDVD is great, don't get me wrong. I just prefer DVD Decrypter's presentation a bit more when it comes to its interface during the ripping process and log records after the rip. I heard AnyDVD's decryption can run in the background while using DVD Decrypter's interface to rip directly to ISO...

Correct way to rip DVDISO/BDISO using DVD Decrypter + AnyDVD?

I've read many different threads that offer different opinions about which options to disable or to leave alone on DVD Decrypter when using DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD. Does anyone know the correct settings to configure to make sure things are running properly when ripping to ISO for DVD/BD? Much...
