No, SGX is mandatory. So no Ryzen for now. Z170, Z270 and Z370 chipsets/motherboards do not have native support for HDMI 2.0. That is why the manufacturers must use a LSPCON chip if they want to make a motherboard with onboard HDMI 2.0. And that is why there is so few of these boards. In...

What? 32GB RAM? I am sorry, can you just remind me what your HW is, please? ASRock Z270 ITX and S11J drive, right? I do not understand why would you need so much RAM. To play MKVs or to playback UHD BD? You mentioned i5 CPU in some older post, which model is that?

Nope. What do you mean? F5 works fine for me, except it did not solve my blackouts problem.

Which motherboard and CPU you have? The splitter you mentioned earlier is not a solution, I believe.

I am using M.2 drive (Patriot Hellfire) for Win 10 plus all software and standard mechanical HDD for storing files. I was thinking about Samsung 960 M.2 drive first, but i changed my mind after reading so many negative feedbacks on Newegg. And Patriot is MLC, Samsung is TLC.

Read this and you will understand why am I asking. It is worth your time, believe me. http://forum.gigabyte.us/thread/755/ga-z270x-gaming-8 And as if this is not enough, many users of new Gigabyte boards report problems with front panel audio. I did not test it myself yet. Edit: It was 4590...

I am using the latest driver from Intel website. The last 4 digits are 4592 or something. And my Win version is Anniversary, not CU. Did you install BIOS F5? Are you experiencing any blackouts while using the IGPU? Is your BT able to pair with other devices?

Mr Jukic was reviewing something he did not hold in his hand. The US model is virtually identical with S11J-BK. If the specs on Pioneer US site are correct, it actually misses one DVD format or something, I do not remember. But that is probably just a typo.

Yes, CyberLink will release it in April. They mentioned the month while promoting PDVD16 Christmas bundle, which included a free upgrade to PDVD17. The so-called sale actually means nothing because CyberLink products are on sale all the year. One sale ends and another begins right after. You...

No. I listed everything you need in post #321 (two pages back). It is not a question of computing power, no high-end graphics card is necessary. It is a question of secure path for the protected A/V signal. Optional items you may want: A HDR monitor (coming Q2/2017) or TV A graphics card...

Z270 Pro4 does not support HDMI 2.0 and thus ASRock is not offering the HDCP key toolkit for it. As far as I know, Z270 and Z170 ITX/ac are the only two compatible motherboards by ASRock.

You are right. I did not notice the slight difference between CyberLink's and Pioneer's requirements. Thus the U-type CPUs may be compatible after all. How about your LG BH16NS55 and BU40N drives? Did they pass the UHD BD Advisor test or not? Thank you. Actually I am not new here, but I never...

No. U processors are not supported, see the Minimum requirements table https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Computer/Computer+Drives/BDR-211UBK#specs Desktop dual core i3 is not supported either. 4-core S and H CPUs only. And HD 630 graphics is not the same as Iris plus. Actually there is no...

Really interesting thread. My computer plays UHD BDs already, yet I am still curious about other people's progress on this field. It was not easy for my wallet, but in the end I decided to do exactly what CyberLink suggests and I bought new compatible components in order to use the drive from...
