UHD 'couldn't retrieve AGID (bus encryption)!'

Thank you very very much. That worked great. ImgBurn complained it was making a bad disk but did it anyways. I was then able to open it like a normal BluRay with AnyDVD running. Just what I wanted!

    Product: BD-RE BU40N Revision: 1.00

Ok thanks. I will just MakeMKV for now. It basically does what I want and allows me to put our 4K UHDs on family NAS. As a side note I see that DeUHD claims to be able to rip all uhds now. Haven't tried their demo yet.

UHD 'couldn't retrieve AGID (bus encryption)!'

Can you elborate on " MakeMKV to enable libredrive, to create an iso with IMGBurn, which then in turn can be fed into AnyDVD." How did you create the ISO? From the MKV files?

    Product: BD-RE BU40N Revision: 1.00

I have a slimline BU40N that I flashed to revision 1.00 and it works fine with MakeMKV and Libre. I understand this isn't an AnyDVD friendly drive. Has anyone successfully cross flashed this for AnyDVD? If so, what bin? Thanks. Drive Information OS device name: H: Current profile: BD-ROM...

How to make protected Blu Ray Copies?

Ok, thanks that helps. So unlike DVD's where the copy protection can just be removed, I will still need to playback the Blu Ray on a PC with anyDVD. Got it! So CloneBD is more about changing the video formats etc. You still need AnyDVD to play back the converted versions. Is that correct? Or...

How to make protected Blu Ray Copies?

I've looked through posts and tutorials and I am still confused. Is there a way to make a backup copy of a commercial protected Blu Ray disk that will work in a Blu ray player without also having AnyDVD running during Playback?

Heimdal Agent has just started blocking redfox.bz on my machines. The reason they give is as the domain is showing up in Virustotals: https://www.virustotal.com/#/ip-address/93.190.142.127 -> redfox. https://www.virustotal.com/#/domain/forum.redfox.bz -> Formu.redfox.bz

AnyDVD crash. Dumpfile enclosed as requested by program.

Something for the devs to decide if it is worth fixing. It is a bug to have the program crash like that. I agree it is not something I will worry about. It would have been nice if the program has said where to forward the dump file. I put it here on the forums as it wasn't clear what was needed.

AnyDVD crash. Dumpfile enclosed as requested by program.

Yes the retry was successful. I just forwarded the dump file since the program asked me too.

AnyDVD crash. Dumpfile enclosed as requested by program.

Rip to Image of BluRay "Arrival". After the crash I restarted the program and was able to successful rip the disk. There were read errors reported the first time and I had hit retry. For the second rip I pulled the disk, wiped it clean and retried it.

AnyDvd crashed and requested the log be forwarded. Here it is.

    Retry on bad read

Thanks that is a helpful idea!

    Retry on bad read

Since it has worked by constantly pushing the retry button I again submit it would be nice if the software would do this for a last resort trial. This case is rare but does occur a couple of times a year for me.

    Retry on bad read

Understood it is a borderline disk, but since pressing retry 3 or 4 times will read through it I would like the Anydvd to do it for me. I had one disk with 20 different borderline areas. I was able to rip it eventually by pressing retry. Really would have been much quicker to have the software...

    Retry on bad read

Thanks. I read the link and did not see the reason why "retry always" feature could not be provided. Anyways I would like to see one so if devs see this consider this a request. I really am happy with the program but this would make it even better.

    Retry on bad read

I sometimes get a Blu ray that is not scratched but will come up failure to read on sectors with a retry button. Pressing it usually gets past the error but sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries. Is there a way to tell AnyDvd ripper mode to keep trying on errors (perhaps giving a modeless dialog box...
