I can confirm Lost City of Z has four English audio tracks (original, low/medium/high boost). The low boost is still merged with the regular audio. See pic below.

This is nice and thank you! For extra bonus would be to get the language picker to remember selections from last time, so one doesn't need to keep clearing the boost channels every time.

Looks like The Flash (2023) also has same issue with three audio tracks at 640 (and two extra dialog boost audio channels when playing movie in browser). So not only Amazon content.

I see what happened with the bitrate. The order of the audio tracks is random. The first one is then selected by default. So if descriptive happens to be first in the list, it gets selected and the bitrate dropdown shows the options for it and unrelated to which audio tracks are checked. Next...

Actually my bitrate issue may be different. I see this in the log for EXmas, opening and closing the download modal. Sometimes the 5.1 audio channels are not available and sometimes they are.

Yes, I am still using PowerDVD 18. Good to know it will work if I upgrade. PowerDVD seems slower getting all these little things fixed in their players, especially in regards to subtitles. I reported a few issues in that area in their player a few years back and never got fixed with 18. Will...

Correct. Didn't blame AnyStream. Just saying I noticed the mp4 subtitles tracks don't seem to be as widely recognized. mkvtoolnix doesn't see them and PowerDVD cannot show them. Has nothing to do with AnyStream but good to know depending on what player you use.

I stand corrected. Thanks all! Just tried it, and indeed it adds subtitles track to the mp4 file. That was not clear to me. Interesting is that MKVToolNix doesn't seem to recognize these tracks. VLC Player does and shows them nicely. PowerDVD 18 sees the tracks, but cannot display them.

I am confused. I am fully aware of these settings. None of them allows getting an mkv file with the subtitles. That was the feature request. Starbucks also has an option to get a coffee with milk. But that doesn't help me either ;)

That will burn in the subtitle into the video and not what I want. As I understand it, mp4 doesn't allow subtitle tracks.

Not sure you are asking about "have to" or "combine"? "have to" is because of convenience so I don't need to keep track of multiple files. I find it annoying when you can use a single file like mkv that contains both video and subtitles. I use subtitles for all movies and it's much much nicer...

I respect the decision, but still am curious why. It was the first thing I was going to ask for. I much prefer mkv and find it annoying to have to combine the mp4 and srt files every time. But not annoying enough to make a big deal of it :)

That's a strange comment. It started working with 1.2.7.3. It never worked before and I was happy to announce that it does now. I know there is a 1.2.7.4, but not sure what that has to do with anything? Will it stop working? or are you telling everyone on every thread there is a new version just...
