Just so everyone is aware, I've received nothing back from Elaborate Bytes since my query to them on August 20th....so no update.

I've sent a message to Elaborate Bytes asking for the release status of Version 2.9.3.4 to stable/supported release. Will post here if/when I get anything useful back!:)

@James. Can you provide an update on the status of the 2.9.3.4 Beta Release?

@CDR Cousland....the link the latest beta is always at the top of the corresponding "Software Talk" forum category...

@James. I've been using this Feb 1 version for a couple months now with no issues on Windows 10 (latest release 1809). If you'd like some specific regression testing done, please just let me know for this beta release (or for any future betas that you'd like tested).

Sorry....so I assume when coopervid said this in his post "There is something wrong at RedFox. Older installations on various PCs only suggest 8.2.5.0 and nothing newer." it must have been just his assumption because he wasn't getting prompted to upgrade? I had taken his post to imply there...

I'm confused. I see the check box option to ask AnyDVD to automatically check for updates...but don't see anywhere that I can ask AnyDVD to manually check for updates. Probably a dumb user question, but how to I manually ask the program to check for updates and see what it concludes?

Realize this is no guarantee, but I was able to copy it successfully....no errors.

Got a replacement DVD today. Everything worked fine! (I'm now using 8.2.4.10 and CloneDVD2 2.9.3.3)

While there may be other problems going on, I do think my FSF DVD is defective. If I disable AnyDVD and just try to play the movie on my PC with VLC, the movie stops playing during the end credits (which is where I was getting the read errors with CloneDVD2).

Hi...I suspect a bad disc. AnyDVD takes a very long time (3-4 minutes) to complete...but eventually completes with no UI errors. CloneDVD2 starts successfully to create DVD Files, but begins to encounter read errors starting at segment 1013124. It will continue successfully with me selecting...

If @James can take a quick look that would be great if the menu navigation is fixable with a new version of AnyDVD, otherwise, this isn't so bad and I can always just make another copy with just the main movie from the DVD files and CloneDVD2.

I was able to rip the DVD successfully on Version 8.2.4.2 (see attached)

I had no problem copying the DVD version of Murder on the Orient Express (2017 release) with AnyDVD HD release 8.2.2.6

Oh...sorry. I didn't read that line in James' release note as a continuation of the previous line. Now understand.

Just use the "upload a file" feature here...and perhaps it will help someone knowledgeable here confirm the problem.
