This isn't the UHD, it's the BD and it's taking that long. I haven't had time to try the newest version yet but I intend to today.

I'm going to guess you know this title is still slow. I did run it again for a short amount of time with the newest beta and captured a log. Here it is just in case it is useful. This title was tried after Captain Marvel completed the entire encode.

Godzilla exhibits the same slow encode as Captain Marvel if converting the audio to ac3. US 4K + BD disc bought at Walmart.

I don't crash but I still have Captain Marvel taking over 3 hours to convert the audio to AC3. I did a partial copy to generate the log and it can be found above.

Just for the record, firmware up to 3.02 should be fine, that is what my drive has. You don't want anything 3.03 and newer as you'll have to try and downgrade it.

I've got the same disc as you according to the numbers in the log file name. I had no issues with reading my protected ISO rip and converting it with Handbrake.

The "dialog" is also the settings. Since this is a real time program, you cannot have someone changing settings while a rip is going on, therefore you do not allow a rip to start if the settings window is open.

Kickboxer Retaliation playlist has about 10 seconds of "This picture has been rated..." in front of it without any audio. This throws the entire movie out of sync.

Just fine. It was a bit noisy with 3.00 but quieted down nicely with 3.02. Here's what I see when I click your link and what AnyDVD says when I insert a disc.

That is the exact drive I bought. It came with 3.00 and I took it to 3.02 with the firmware on the Asus site.

I just picked one of those up and it was version 3.0. I used the official 3.02 and flashed it a few minutes ago. It was loud ripping with 3.0 and now it is quiet with 3.02.

I believe he's trying to say that if you check the box that says "Show information window for new media" it will reopen after clicking okay. While the window does not stay open, it does reopen once the disc has been scanned.

This kind of was related to the BD section. The thread for the current release has disappeared from view for normal users. It still exists in the regular DVD section.

Pete, Would the same be said for Eac3to since it lists titleset numbers? If so, is there any way to keep the original titleset numbers?

Buy it or not, that's your decision. To continue to complain about it now is pointless. It will change nothing, to continue to use it you will need to buy it. In my opinion they should not offer lifetime licenses. I think for the future of the company they should offer either a subscription...
