I've been receiving this error even after uninstalling AnyDVD HD and removing registration, uninstalling MakeMKV (which I have no idea why it's referencing that completely different program), and reinstalling AnyDVD HD and restarting my computer several times. It's like it wants MakeMKV...

Yeah, man... PowerDVD 17 is the bees knees! I'm so glad I discovered it, because prior to that, MPC-HC ruled my HTPC. However, there have been too many movies that have foreign subtitles that aren't recognized by MPC-HC no matter what command you input or setting you adjust. It seems BD-Java...

Hey, Ch3vr0n, by another few days, I assume you mean by Tuesday when it officially releases? I'm asking because I just tried it and it's still not in the database. I can't remember if I've ever tried to copy a blu-ray disc onto my HDD that I received before the official release date.

Is there actually a free media player program which does know which list to pick that isn't plagued with stuttering playback issues of HD audio like all the others I've tried? And also plays the disc menu as voovaz brought up?

If I knew of any different settings to optimize results, I would definitely post them. However, my only use of this product is to decrypt the disc and transfer it to my HDD. That's it and it works efficiently as advertised. Beyond that, I can't imagine there's anything else I would need to set...

Media Player Classic Home Cinema (MPC-HC) has played every single Blu-ray file I've thrown at it (over 3,000 movies, including Deadpool). I would suggest trying that wonderful, free program.
