I have the latest 3730a version of PDVD and I still have 3319a + 3730 versions via the switcher created by Kiriakos installed in a different place... I can load the 3730a via its shortcut OR 3730/3319a via the switcher shortcut... However, even though the player says it is 3319a and I can access...

Does a PDVD switch have to be specifically written for each new version of PDVD or can I take the relevant files out of 3730a and put them in the 3730 folder that came with the switch, if you get my drift, so I can still acccess 3319a? As well as upgrade to 3730a.

Don't you think a PDVD switch is more practical than ISOing all your movies?

Is this the switcher linked to via the Greek site (that this forum linked to) ? That download is an AVClub switcher with 2 versions of PDVD in two specific folders, not a PDVDswitcher.exe program.

Isn't it just possible to install two versions of PowerDVD? One that plays from old stuff HDD and one that plays the latest releases from iso.

Thanks. You mean playback via iso with the NEW Powerdvd. If 3319a is no longer functional with some BD+ titles... I guess it's redundant. If you have to always use a new PDVD build to play the latest titles... BD is definitely paranoid and in need of therapy.

If this is a Powerdvd issue, as Anydvd has apparently removed the BD+, any ideas what is stopping Powerdvd from working and accessing the main movie? Playback of the VC-1 extras is possible via file but the movie VC-1 is not.

I can play CE3K via file but it has sound issues. Strange that the Fox titles won't go past the menu on 3319a or 3104 with the latest AnyDVD build. Do you think this will be resolved with a future AnyDVD build? But doesn't 3514 stop playback from HDD? Thanks.

Ripped a few of my BDs with Umbuntu and having weird results. Dracula works fine with menu access etc. Close Encounters, The Fly and Die Hard won't go past the menu. If I try to play, press next, or access through chapters, I get "prohibited". The Fly plays back via m2ts but Die Hard via m2ts is...
