AS 1.0.7.0 not showing "Completed" dialog

I had a similar issue. After the update to 1.0.7.0, the 'completed' dialog no longer appeared. I went into settings and selected "Re-enable all 'don't show again' messages" and the dialog box re-appeared on the next completion of a download. When the dialog box appeared, the box was already...

[Duplicate] Feature Request - Name of File in Progress Bar

I did not perceive it as the same, but on a closer reading, it clearly is the same. All my providers are already requested and the queue has already been hashed out. I think someone even posted about the regressions on 1.0.7.0 (missing notification on download complete).

[Duplicate] Feature Request - Name of File in Progress Bar

In (or near) the progress bar where download progress is track, it would be nice to know the filename (or even complete path) of the file being downloaded. I didn't think it was something I would forget while I downloading.. but i frequently find myself checking the download location to...

    VirtualBox with a Win7 guest

A number of years ago, I tried to run in VMWare with poor results. I think I tried VirtualBox as the same time and was also unsuccessful. Passthru devices are 'ok' but probably not good enough for what AnyDVD is doing. So, I'd say 'no' to virtualization in general and if you have a specific...

    Transcoder Stop Error 1.1.9.3

I encountered this same error and ended up on this topic. last reported error: 'transcoder error 0x80070512' (6) My save-file destination was on a network share. When I changed the output directory to the local drive, this error did not occur. (Also, my output speed increased by an order...

Overboard (2018) Blu Ray playlist problems

It is often my experience that the large bins or display boxes of BDs that are put out for the holiday are a different pressing than the first release of the BD. I suspect that if I owned a BD player connected to the internet, that the studio would get some kind of statistic as to how many...

Overboard (2018) Blu Ray playlist problems

Confirmed to work. I guess I was the first one to see this BD? Thanks for the fast response

Overboard (2018) Blu Ray playlist problems

I am also having playlist issues with this film. This seems like a good thread. I don't get an indication of the correct playlist/title. I hope this is helpful. Pastebin attached

Converting UHD Friendly drive into UHD Real and viceversa

This was helpful to me in converting an LG BE16NU50 from firmware from Version 1.02 to Version 1.01 My largest problem was finding a motherboard that would put the SATA controllers into IDE mode.

Bad Disc? No, Drive Laser Lens Dirty.

I have a few sets I received new that have scratched discs. There are supposedly ways to clean and buff the scratch out, but I have yet to attempt it.

Bad Disc? No, Drive Laser Lens Dirty.

I hate handling the disc, I hate people handling my discs. I rip them and put them in their case and then in a box full of other BDs and DVDs and tape them closed and store them. Done right, they only get touched twice.. into the drive.. out of the drive.

Bad Disc? No, Drive Laser Lens Dirty.

I have a Zotac ZBOX HD-ID33BR. I had to completely disassemble this box to get to the slotloading BD Drive inside of it. I disassembled the slot-load also (this was much easier than getting to it) and re-assembled it. I am ripping a blu-ray with it right now to test. I have included...

Bad Disc? No, Drive Laser Lens Dirty.

The drive works fine. I had to replace a Molex to SATA power cable that was the cause of the problem. The PC was fine, I switched to a smaller/quieter PC for the living room .. which was the only reason I am not still using it. Maybe I should get a 5.25 1/2 bay enclosure for it ;) The...

Bad Disc? No, Drive Laser Lens Dirty.

@MK-Slinky Thanks. I am going to disassemble my slot-load BD drive that doesn't work and clean it. The only drive I had that would read blu rays was the one that caught on fire. (EDIT: unable to fix the image link.. attached a file instead)

Bad Disc? No, Drive Laser Lens Dirty.

Any time you get read errors from the drive, the first thought should be the Disc is bad. Usually that means the disc is dirty. Sometimes it means the disc is a bad pressing. Sometimes, the drive will not read a bad Disc at all. In a first-time-ever, I had a new permutation. The Laser for...

Lucky Number Sleven ISO does not play (resolved)

find . -name \*.iso -mtime -365 | wc -l 506 find . -name \*.iso -mtime -365 -sparse | wc -l 429 Almost all the ISO files I deal with are sparse. [EDIT: all files are sparse.. the ones that are not sparse are symbolic links]

Lucky Number Sleven ISO does not play (resolved)

@theosch Ripped 'fat'. Fat works. I don't know how to debug WinXP problems. I don't even want to try. Sorry about switching to SHA1's, I can't take an MD5 on WinXP. VirtualCloneDrive 5.5.0.0: Unable to mount ISO on WinXP Windows Reports size: "46,726,871,936" (Windows says it is the...

Lucky Number Sleven ISO does not play (resolved)

@James I was shocked to find files with an MD5 sum that didn't match the MD5 file. I can work-around the problem for the tiny percentage of Disc's that have had it -- now that I know it is a possibility. @theosch and myself thought it might be interesting to @RedFox I am ripping the BD fat...

Lucky Number Sleven ISO does not play (resolved)

@Pete strange pattern. MD5 Sum file written by AnyDVD HD on WinXP doesn't match the MD5 sum of the file that is written. ISO that is produced on WinXP is not valid... same BD on same drive attached to Win10 with same AnyDVD HD version produces ISO file with same MD5 Sum file written by AnyDVD...

Lucky Number Sleven ISO does not play (resolved)

I do _always_ have the 'sparse' box checked. I have ripped 100's with that configuration successfully. I can re-rip the BD again with and without it. I doubt the 'sparse'ness survives the FTP anyway. I will update after I re-rip without the sparse-file checkbox. The problem is early in the...
