As a test you could take the backup disc, rip it to an ISO on your PC then mount the ISO and try playing it back. If the ISO plays back with pixelation then it's compression.

As I said earlier your burning issue is normally down to a media/burner issue, nothing to do with PowerDVD. Probably just some bad disc and it worked with the last one you used. If you look up the error message on Google you'll find the error message, it even does it on bad DVD-R's

That should only be used for Blu-ray. Try ripping to folder

Most discs have the logo on the packaging, but failing that use the playback option in CloneBD, if the disc has Cinavia it will tell you when you try to play back the main movie. There's a tutorial about it in the tutorials section of the website...

That's probably what's causing it as you should only tick the removal option when you have a disc you actually want to remove it from in CloneBD otherwise it does it on every disc

Did you have AnyDVD running in the background and do you have the CInavia removal option ticked?

Depends on if the company make their own discs or send them off to a pressing house. A lot of small businesses just write their own
