yes webman... Try almost three years & counting. I wouldn't buy junk if down the road i would get Junk in return.. (as in playback) also another fancy DVD DL delight is the grand ol' HP DL... Love them price cheap & play great. Like I said before IF You can Find the perfect burner...

I think that installing and uninstalling lots of software over time (along with the occasional Windows crash) screws up the registry more than I can repair it. And it's looking like that's where I'm headed now. . . . I have installing & uninstalling & never had a Anydvd or burning Problem...

I used a Memorex DVD +R DL 2.4X disc. Actually The Memorex are not that bad if you have certain DVD burner. it really sometime is only in the burner you have & how old is it. I Personally used for my DL burner's delights is a LG Supermulti system Read all brands of DL disc burns & plays...

I backed Up This great Asian Flick :rock: like three months ago. It burned flawless, your copy may just be bad.

By the way some adult titles like the ones that come from excalibur company, I have really bad flaws on them. not to mention all of excalibur DVD have purple sides cheap DVD copies & back up-off a computer burner or worse maybe an outdated standalone DVD burner.

yep, Firmwear play a very big role on the DVD disc are read & how they write. Loads of problem most of time leads right back to firmware. My Junk Burner (DVDRW IDE 16X A091 2) plays everything & i had it for over 4 years. it was really bad when it didn't have the Updates in place no coasters...
