It means your drive didn't transmit its host key (unique to the drive) which anydvd needs to decrypt the disc. Could be a disc or drive problem.

Other discs are working fine, but this one causes problems in my second drive (same ASUS model) as well, it sometimes even is not recognized - drive is shown empty in Windows Explorer and AnyDVD status window...

It seems, that your drive is not "friendly".

ASUS BW-16D1HT with FW 3.01 - logically not patched to higher FW!

Very strange - now it IS recognized...reading takes very long, drive keeps being busy, see logfile!

UHD Blu-ray disc.
Blu-ray disc is region free!
Removed annoying trailers!
Removed annoying video sequences!
Removed UOPs!
Bad sector protection not found.
WARNING: Read errors on disc!

Decryption in progress, let's hope it works...

Now it decrypts in my internal drive (not the USB one) - and I did not change anything concerning cables or other HW!

The USB one is that usb 2.0 or 3.0, cause for (UHD) BD ya really need 3.0 for optimal speed...

Decryption successful, playback (VLC/PowerDVD, latest versions) works - I have no idea, why those errors occured...any of you, guys?

I'd say borderline defective disc or dirty disc.

Nevertheless, it works!

Sometimes, those technical things seem to have their own spirit...
