Why won't my Pionner 4k player won't read MP4 burned on BR disk?

Hi all, I'm asking because many knowlegeable peps here.

My 4k Pionner player reads mp4 from mini disk but not from a burned Bluray disk. Commonly called a data disk since it's not a movie disk.
It will also read from thumb stick and usb HD ok.

Don't know if the model # is important, just checking if it's a common thing. I wanted to burn all my recent trip gopro video on a BR disk but it just won't read them.

Any idea?

You need to check your manual, it may be that that type of disc (data) isn't supported from the manufacturer on that type of media (Blu-ray)
