UK John Wick 3 not working at the moment:
JOHN_WICK_3_PARABELLUM -- OPD: BD_7f13e9ce051e

I have several unsupported 4K/UHD, all received from The Disney Movie Club:

  • Aladdin (Original)
  • Brave
  • Cars
  • Finding Nemo
  • Finding Dory
  • Inside Out
  • Ratatouille
  • The Good Dinosaur
I don't have the OPD's as I'm not sure where to find these log files as they don't appear to be where the instructions in this post indicate on my PC. However, I get the typical "Unsupported" error on all the above noted.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi all.

Posting this list to identify which UHD's are not yet supported by AnyDVD.

In another thread, there was a suggestion to list UHD's that are covered under AnyDVD's beta UHD support, but since there are now hundreds of such titles, it became easier to just list those not supported.

To be clear, unsupported UHD titles are the ones that generate a pop-up that says the following when the disc is loaded:

"Cannot process request at this moment, please try again later".

You can also see that message in AnyDVD's Status window.

Also to be clear, no logfiles should be posted here. They're not currently needed by the developers.

What we've been doing is listing the unsupported UHD's title (and optionally country) and the title's AnyDVD OPD number.

The OPD number is an identifier AnyDVD uses for a disc. Showing it will help differentiate between versions of UHD titles, because some versions of a title may be currently supported and some not.

The OPD number can be easily extracted from the logfile of the unsupported title, using a simple tool that @SamuriHL has posted on this thread in post #2 below.

The tool let's you pick your logfile from it's location on your computer and once done will display the OPD number on the console AND load it to the clipboard, ready to paste wherever needed.

(.net is required on your computer for the tool to work.)

***** If your title is added here, please let us know when the title becomes supported, so it can be removed from the list. *****

Note: UHD support for a title is not release-based and can happen at any time as it just involves adding a key to the OPD.

So check often!

Note 2: UHD titles with AACS 2.1 protection (as opposed to AACS 2.0) are not on the list as right now they are not decrypted by AnyDVD at all.

Currently known 2.1 titles are:

The Patriot

Fury

Stand by Me

AnyDVD OPD Parser:

This tool will copy the OPD hash for any AnyDVD ziplog file you select to your clipboard so you can paste it into this thread. Multiple logfiles may be opened in succession so you can get a bunch of them copied to the clipboard at once.

NOTE: You MUST right click the AnyDVD icon and select Create logfile in order to have valid log/s to use with this program.

Instructions for use:

o) Open AnyDVD_OPD_Parser.exe...An open file dialog appears
o) Go to your Documents\AnyDVD_logs directory
o) Select the (first) AnyDVD ziplog
o) The open file dialog will appear again
o) Select the next log you wish to process OR cancel to exit
o) Repeat with as many logs as you need
o) When you have finished processing your log/s, hit cancel on the open file dialog to exit
o) OPD data for all the logs you selected will be copied to your clipboard ready to be pasted in this thread for inclusion

Enjoy!

P.S. I guess it wasn't clear enough....so this allows you to open MULTIPLE ziplog files and when you're done and hit cancel on the dialog, ALL the data will be copied to the clipboard for you for all the logs you've opened.

@donaf

To create the logfiles that you need, please put your original discs into an UHD-friendly optical drive on your system. Then, right-click on the RedFox icon in your Windows System tray (bottom right corner of your screen) and choose "Create Logfile...". AnyDVD will create logfiles for all the optical discs that are currently inserted into drives on your system, and then it will open the logfile folder for you.

Does that help?

Well said Michael!

Right, donaf, AnyDVD doesn't create logfiles unless you ask it to.

Once you've created the logfiles per Michael's instructions, you can use the tool in post #2. It will allow you to select each of those logfiles and will render the OPD ID's for you.

Nice thing about it after running the tool, you can right-click on a document, thread, wherever and it will paste the OPD ID's there for you, but they are also visible in the app's window.

Thanks Michael! I appreciate the help and it got me moving in the right direction. I was able to create the log files for the affected titles I purchased from The Disney Movie Club and with the parser was able to extract the following information for these 4K/UHD discs that get the "Unsupported" error message when attempting to use AnyDVDHD:

  • Aladdin (Original) -- OPD: BD_0c813c668f0a
  • Brave -- OPD: BD_08c3ef8368f4
  • Cars -- OPD: BD_a7437804dbe2
  • Finding Dory -- OPD: BD_7db3276ea804
  • Finding Nemo -- OPD: BD_00f0c13e1ffb
  • Inside Out -- OPD: BD_9aa15a04ea10
  • Ratatouille -- OPD: BD_a6061a2df562
  • The Good Dinosaur -- OPD: BD_695bc64b94f6
I am presuming that this information will assist RedFox with providing support for these discs? I've seen others share this information, so I'm presuming that it will help out.

Thanks again for your assistance.

I am from Hong Kong and I have checked the Pokemon Detective Pikachu(Hong Kong) is working and Shazam(Hong Kong) does not.

And I have 2 more disc are not working with AnyDVD but work with another programme which are:

GODZILLA_KING_OF_THE_MONSTERS (Hong Kong) - OPD BD_bf3ac1eb911d

MEN_IN_BLACK_INTERNATIONAL (Hong Kong) - OPD BD_a43b978479b2

Thank you.

Hi, I had Star Wars the last Jedi work a long time ago. Now the copy comes up with couldn’t retrieve AGID message? Won’t play, see menu, resume, but then not works?

@MartinCottrell you might want to start a new thread for your problem. Your issue doesn't seem to be an 'unsupported' problem but maybe a problem with your backup image -- either how it was made or maybe it's become corrupted. I also suggest that when you start your new thread you attach a logfile for your mounted image and a logfile for the original disc.

Cheers,

Hi donaf.

Kudos, you were able to get your OPD numbers...

Most of these titles are on the list already.

You can check for that on the list in post #1. It's in alphabetical order, just find your title and check down the line for a matching OPD ID.

I added Cars, Ratatouille, and The Good Dinosaur to the list.
