I want to try before buying. I've installed and been prompted to request a trial key. The popup tells me that the trial has full functionality (nice!) but requires both being tied to a single device (no problem) and having an Internet connection open. Is that Internet connection only required for delivery of the key, or is it also required to use the software? If the latter, then why?

Trial versions require an internet connection for the duration of the trial to check trial status and access to the opd. Fill versions only needed it for opd access
