Standard rip to HD. AnyDVD 8.2.2.6B

Dies with File IO error: FileIO 3 VTS_02_1.VOB 217382912 548864

And then it deletes the saved files

No visible cracks, smears, or scratches

Any suggestions?

You shouldn't need AnyDVD as there is no protection on it. AnyDVD has issues sometimes with discs with no protection. Just do a drag and drop using Windows since there is no protection on the disc. If it still fails, it is defective.
