I am running Windows 10 on a high-end OMEN by HP laptop whose BIOS is in a RAID SATA AHCI configuration. I have an LG BE16NU50 external USB 3.0 drive housed in a SATA enclosure. LG states that the max read speed for CSS compliant DVDs is between 8X and 12X. I notice that the drive sounds quiet and ripping takes between twenty-five and thirty minutes. I would like to upload a file containing the details of my system in case it helps anyone. Thank you.
