I just got AnyDVD yesterday (Been using DVDFab for a few years, but got tired of it being sub-optimal)

I used it to rip to the HD a few discs I've had problems with DVDFab with.

Today I pickup'd "Finding Dory"

I suspect it's not an AnyDVD problem, but perhaps you can help.

I insert the disk, AnyDVD recognizes it, and Windows explorer pops it up in the Drive list, then the disk ejects.

Just as test, I insert another disk (Allegiant) and it copies fine.

Per the FAQ, I'm on the latest version, and I'm attaching the log file (Which was created by trying to click the create logfile option before the disc ejected, but after it recognized, so it might be incomplete.)

Thoughts?

Also, this is what the status display puts out (More info must be better)

As a small update, I disabled AnyDVD from the taskbar, and the disc does not eject. So I take back my comment, and it does appear to be AnyDVD related.

I had no issues Tuesday with this title.
Check your "auto-play" settings in Windows.
I have all mine set to "do nothing".

PS: Try inserting the DVD and then invoking AnyDVD. Does it still pop out?

I checked your log. Someone/something did remove the disc, but it wasn't AnyDVD.
I suspect some third party program, maybe "My Movies"?

Code:

5.34s: read sectors failed, sense 2:3a:2 // **** MEDIUM NOT PRESENT - TRAY OPEN

Just circling back to this.

I do have My Movies, and it too is having issues reading the disc.

I'll take my post over there.

I did use DVDFab to copy the disk, so this has become more a curiosity problem for me.
