MS had a monthly update festival today, normal.

What wasn't normal is I always do a disk cleanup on my primary boot drive (120GB SDD), checking for any system files to sweep up.

I was advised there were 3.99 TERA-bytes of junk files to get rid of, outdated system update files.

I think someone at MS made a boo-boo.

Not seeing that on any of our systems that updated today

I got Windows 10 Anniversary Update last Tuesday and, as is my custom, I ran Disc Cleanup after installation and it took more than 30 minutes to complete. Normally it's a matter of seconds.

I chalk it up to a transient Windows glitch with my Win 10 x64 Home maching. Using the MS disk cleanup removed about 400MB, not 3.99TB. Took over an hour to sweep up.

I just thought it a rather weird, if not critical, glitch.
