Speaking of updates, I did not purchase a new license for CLONEDVD, opting to continue with the one that I acquired from Slysoft a few years ago. I gather that this remains an ELBY produced program (is this true?) I wonder if there is still enough interest in plain old DVDs to investigate a DVD clone product that addresses Cinavia? Most movies are not special or visually impressive enough to warrant an investment in a BluRay title and BD R disks,

It's not clonedvd that will need an update for that. It's anydvd. The same way CloneBD alone can't remove it, it's anydvd that taps into CloneBD and removes it through CloneBD. And yes it's true that clonedvd is an elby product.
