Wonder if someone can help.

I have traditionally ripped my blu rays as files to my NAS, as my streamer never used to play ISO files.

With new software, my streamer does play ISOs so I want to convert the files to ISOs.

In the past I used to use imgburn for this, but for some reason, I simply cannot get it to work these days on my PC.

So, is there another way I can create image files from the folders using Any DVD HD which I originally used to rip the discs? I should say I no longer have many of the original discs.

Not with any slysoft product no. IMGBurn can do it though. Click the 2nd button on the right "Create image file from files/folder". Point it to the BD rip root folder (the one holding the BDMV/Certificate folders) and IMGBurn should do the rest. If it fails you'll need to go to the IMGBurn forum for more specialised support

Thanks. Unfortunately imgburn is giving me problems. I've used it frequently to create images that replay on my Kosi streamer, but all of a sudden, the ISOs won't play.

I have also tried alternatives like WinISO and the ISOs created by that don't work either.

All of the ISOs I created earlier still work though.

Very odd!

Try UltraISO and use UDF file system 1.02 or higher....

Use 1.02 and you've got yourself a defective ISO immediately.

The bluray standard defines UDF 2.50 and 2.50 alone. It's pretty impossible that suddenly all ISO tools no longer work, more likely is either 1) you use the wrong/incompatible settings or 2) it's an issue with your player

As ch3vr0n says use udf 2.50
Do not use any other file system. As it will give a improper iso. Also your software may be picky and not support other file systems. Also do the files play on your computer.

If they play on your computer and not on the Nas it could be they got corrupted during the transfer.
Check the checksums of the iso on the Nas against the working one on your computer they should match
On windows use quick hash to compare them.
You may also need to mount the Nas with a Drive letter.
On Mac use terminal command
Code:
 md5 'path to iso'
On Linux use terminal
Code:
 md5sum 'path to iso'
Remember Mac and Linux terminals are cAsE sEnSiTiVe

It could also be that BluRays Isos arnt fully supported yet

I was just reading on my IMGBurn to turn off my Slyfox while using it ,dont know if a fix is coming on 10/10/2015 Thanks rsdno

If you turn of Anydvd then you create a protected iso with imgburn, and that's the reason it won't play.

Thanks but I am still completely stuck with this. For some reason, ISOs that I am now creating will not play. I am doing everything right, and everything in the same way that was working until just a few weeks ago!

mer2329, thank you but that is way too complicated for me.

Can anyone recommend some free software to enable me to play blu ray ISOs on my PC so I can at least test them?

Sure check the download page. 'Virtual clone drive'

I didn't know about 2.50 UDF just for bluray....Its been many many years since I've copied discs and burnt them...now I just buy the originals and try and convert them to tablet or streaming size....
