I am seeking advice on which DVD (BD) software player is best used to test Back-Ups made with the assistance of AnyDVD HD and CLONE DVD.

I have historically used 'InterVideo WinDVD' as it came as part of a hardware purchase.

My 'InterVideo WinDVD' is outdated now.

QUESTION: What is the best software to use with my Slysoft products AnyDVD and CLONE DVD until Slysoft's own software player is ready?

I am considering 'CyberLink PowerDVD™ 10 BD3D', which is bundled with some Pioneer Internal BD/DVD/CD Burner computer drives.

Thanks

DISAMBIGUATION: COREL'S software player WinDVD according to Wikipedia, Corel corporation brought InterVideo WinDVD in 2006. But there is site offering software called “InterVideo WinDVD” which is not Corel ?

CloneDvd does not (and never will) play or clone Blu-Ray discs.
All licensed software players were required to incorporate Cinavia protection since February 2012.

It looks like he could be asking about using Clone Dvd with BD discs. Which it is not intended for. As for playback, he might want to use PowerDVD 10. The new ones have Cinavia built in. Or wit till Slyce comes out, it has a secondary objective to fix Cinavia later.

PDVD 11 is also cinavia free, and so is PDVD until the last patch before the 1905 build. That one starts the cinavia on PDVD 12

I am lost, did someone suggest CloneDVD as a player?
Check your first post. You can't make backups or play BD's with CloneDvd.

My comment was about the Slysoft (Elaborate Bytes) CloneDvd2 - are you referring to a competing product like the one from clonedvd.net (which also does not do Blu-Ray)?

I think the confusion arose because you said 'play'
CloneDvd does not (and never will) play or clone Blu-Ray discs.
When he never said he wanted to try using CloneDVD to play

Profcolli,
Okay I see the miss understanding !! By CloneDVD I was indeed referring to (Elaborate Bytes) CloneDVD2.
I was unaware of "http://www.clonedvd.net" who are using this name CloneDVD.

Adbear. Thanks you also for helping clarify. :)

I think I will try CyberLinks PowerDVD 10 or 11 pre '1905 build' (thanks Ch3vr0n :) ) untill Slyce is released.
Are CyberLink likely to attempt to impose cinavia as a software update (fix) to pre cinavia PowerDVD 10, PDVD 11 versions?

Does anybody have an opinion on using COREL'S software player WinDVD ?
