64Bit Windows7 Error

Not running on Windows 7 64 bit OS :bang:

I installed it... tried opening it and nothing.

Checked my system services... not even running. :(

Tried Windows XP Compatibility Mode and nothing...

Rebooted and nothing...

Went back to 6.8.2.1 = 100% Operational.

Please delete this post... duplicate. (Sorry)

Bus encryption support, damn nice work james.

Tried Windows XP Compatibility Mode and nothing...

Probably unrelated, but *never* start our programs in any kind of "compatibility mode". This will cause problems.

Could you elaborate? What exactly did you try to "open" and how?

More info needed

Not running on Windows 7 64 bit OS :bang:

Can we regroup?

I just now see James asked for something also and can we have this also? Thanks.

While you have a prior version running please create a System Info log and attach it here: start>all programs>slysoft>anydvd>AnyDVD System Information.

Then we'll get back to you. BTW: AnyDVD is running in Windows as a "process".

I have windows 7 64 bit as well. ANYDVD is working fine and hasn't reported any problem so far.

System info attached...

FYI: I am running Windows 7 OS 64Bit Ultimate.

Can we start over?

System info attached...

FYI: I am running Windows 7 OS 64Bit Ultimate.

And initially you said:

Not running on Windows 7 64 bit OS

Regardless:

Operating System: Windows XP (64-bit) Service Pack 3 is what it says in the log information.

And, since this is a log from the 6822 version can we maybe clarify what all this "not running" means. You could not have generated the SysInfo log otherwise.....

Probably just a bad download. Redownload and reinstall. Check the signatures.

os windows 7 64 bit home

no problems here either....:)

Then don't repeat yourself...

I SAID! I tried it... NOT that I am running it.

I have been running this program for a hell of a long time.

PS: Yes it was a bad download.

Your system log indicates that you still had WinXP compatibility enabled.
Anyway, problem is solved, all is well. ;)

I also have Windows 7 64 and the new beta seems to work fine.
