Could Motion Picture Studios and Associations end AnyDVD?

g725s,
The MPAA has no power over Slysoft. Look up the country they are in.

Thanks for the reply. I know it would probably not be the most favorable subject, but I wanted to hear what others thought. I searched here but did not find much on the subject. I'm somewhat new to this, but in my research I hear of other software developers that have been forced to shut their doors. And knowing the funds and power that might be behind those that might want to stop software like this. Personally I am only interested in it to store what is rightfully mine on my harddrive and make an occasional backup dvd. Also I know there are cracks and keygens to steal it. But that also is not my mode of operation.

I might assume also that the motion picture studios and music industry is making more money than ever because of all this new technology. Why not let the buyer control what he bought. Having what you bought just on a CD or DVD is just not enough these days.

And in regards to your response, I would assume somewhere in Europe because of the currency they quote.

g725s,
You are looking in the wrong area. Go South

Right click the Foxhead in the taskbar and you can see the Country
