does anyone know what CLONE 1 TCE means? This happened when backing up Sherlock Holmes, region 1.

I don't think this is the problem. The Clone 1 error should never happen if the source material is fine. But if it is not, e.g, decrypted with incorrect CSS keys, CloneDVD cannot compress (the video is still encrypted) and you will see a lot of "remuxing forced" messages in the log. It will try to compensate and compress more, until it reaches the "point of no return" and aborts with Clone 1 TCE.TCE 1 error is a Transcoding Engine Error. It used to mean that the program could not transcode the DVD properly. Try taking out the unwanted audio and try again
Very good advice.Make sure you are using CloneDVD 2.9.2.7 also.
