I have some video files, that I have accumulated over the years, that I really would like to try and burn to DVD. I have Nero Essentials 3.0 (?) that came with my burner. I burn the files to DVD in a format that should be readable by a stand alone player, but here is what is happening. The video comes through fine, but the audio sounds like the Chipmunks on helium. But this doesn't happen with all of them, only some. Some of the video's that I would think are protected, burn fine, but then the ones that I pulled off of my own video camera, come out sounding like the Chipmunks.
I was referred to try AnyDVD to see if it would strip off anything that is causing this to happen, which I have the trial version. It doesn't seem to work on these types of files unless I am using it wrong. FIle formats are .mpg, .wmv and .avi. These are what I have been trying to burn. ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks,
