Can' t get it done with 3.0.0.7. Allways gives something, that A required security module cannot be activated. This program cannot be executed (12110) or Conflict with Emulation Software detected. Vista home premium 32-bit, nothing else in laptop but this gamejackal 3.0.0.7 beta. Tried all these Install_Important_Vista.txt things, but no help. All sims2 patches done. Laptop Acer TravelMate 5520G-402G16 TL-58/2GB/160GB/15,4" ,LX.TKP0X.034. Plese make it simple, I'm a bit too old for this.

Have you been able to profile any other games?

Thanks, but my girls haven't got anything else but Sims2 game's what they play. I think all of those has been installed on that laptop. So I don't know.

Right-click the profile and select "Edit profile". Select "Advanced options" and then make sure "Securom" is the selected copy protection. Also make sure Game Management is set to fully supported.

Thank you, where can I found this "Game Management is set to fully supported"?

Timo

Thanks again, but I can't find it from my bonvoyage profile. I can find the advanced options and securom option, but there is no Game Management options nowhere.
That change dosen't help, it still gives same dialog (12110 etc.)

Please upgrade to v3.0.1.0 (this version fixed an issue that could cause your problem)

If you are still having problems please let me know.

Thanks Matt, but still same error with v3.0.1.0. This dialog (12110) comes when I try to make profile. Then GJ doesn't finish making of profile. It stops to image making and only thing to do is push cansel. Icon comes there, but when I push it again to try play bonvoyage, it gives that same error (12110).

That's not actually what we want.

Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Click "Clipboard". Then paste the information you pasted into your clipboard into your next post (ctrl-v).

When creating then profile, on Step 4 select "Advanced options" and then set "Game Management" to "Disabled".

Give that a go.

NTIDrv - NTI CD-ROM Driver used by New Tech Infosystems Inc in their burning and ripping engine

NTI FileCD, which is packet writing software, installs this driver. Packet writing software often causes problems with Slysoft software and other software in general. If you want drag-and-drop functionality, use dvd-ram instead, which is more stable.

1. Uninstall NTI's Filecd packet writing software, and ensure NTIDrvr no longer appears in your upper filters after rebooting. If you need that drag and drop functionality, use dvd-ram instead.

But if you can't figure out how to remove (or uninstall that program) that filter (or how to check your filters), do this:

i) Create a backup of your registry
ii) Download imgburn. It's a free program: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
(it's also an excellent program imo)
iii) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Select "NTIDrvr". Click "Remove selected filter". Click "ok".
iv) Reboot

Keep in mind whatever program installed that filter will no longer work properly.

Thanks, I didn't know of that packet writing, it isn't with that name in laptop.
I couldn't find it before, sorry.

OK, I have done everything, I have removed NTI's Filecd packet writing software with Imageburn and it's gone, but still same problem.
It gives that code (12110)

GJ makes the game icon, but it stuck in smart imagin, only thing to do is push cansel. And if try again push the icon in GJ, it asks original dvd. Then I put the game in and hole laptop goes stuk.

Here are the filters.

And creating profile step 4 of 5 there in "Advanced options" is no setting "Game Management" to "Disabled" in my GJ.

"Game application management" should appear below "Working Directory". In the drop-down box, select "disabled". If you don't see this, then try to expand the window that you're looking at (drag it so that it's larger). Otherwise, there's something the matter with your display settings with respect to Game Jackal. That setting should be shown.

Thanks, but I can't find it. There is only working directory and below that there is ok and cansel buttons. And the window dosen't go any larger.
Plesae check all things that would make errors. Is my GJ versin OK?
Why I can't see that option? Or should I give up with this GJ project?

I see the "Game Application Management" option on a Vista 64 bit and a Windows XP pro 32 bit system.

You may want to try reinstalling Game Jackal. Otherwise, I would wait to see what Matthew says.

Are you using a non-English version of Game Jackal? Perhaps this is an issue with something that didn't get translated--or something to do with using a different language (font display for non-standard language gets pushed off the window or something due to text positioning issues).
