Hi all,

you can consider this version "release quality", so it is safe to use:

http://sandbox.slysoft.com/beta/SetupAnyDVD6318.exe

6.3.1.8 2008 03 13
- New (DVD): Added support for a new type of structural protection as
found on "Lissi und der wilde Kaiser", R2, Germany
- New (DVD): Added support for a new type of structural protection as
found on "30 Days of Night", R2, Germany
- New (DVD): Added support for a new type of structural protection as
found on "Wächter des Tages (Dnevnoy dozor)", R2, Germany

Some kind of german-exclusive release.:p:D

And the usual "new HD-DVD / BD MKBv4 titles" support, I never mention in the changelogs.

Wouldn't AI Scanner take care of those new DVD protections anyway?
it would appear not: http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=14600

Somewhat agree. Wouldn't AI Scanner take care of those new DVD protections anyway?

It does, unless there is a bug in AI scanner which the latest protections used to stop it from working. This was the case with the new protection fixed in 6.3.1.8

Well, I don't pretend to know better than the developers what is or isn't needed, and it don't need me to ask for the BD+ crack, but regular updates ARE important, especially as content beats resolution (just in terms of numbers of DVDs Vs BR), and also for those few of us whose HTPCs are not net-connected. Good work!
