Just wondered if anyone can tell me if it's possible to copy movies I've downloaded off the internet to a dvd so I don't have to sit at my computer and watch the movies? If so, how? Thanks!

It all depends the leagal downloading service one you pay per title usually has a burn engine on their site. Sounds like you got yours from a torrent or PSP service.

Unless you are referring to Burn to DVD type movies sold by CinemaNow and other online video sites that make use of FluxDVD protection then I would have to assume you are obtaining the movies via P2P or other online methods.

AnyDVD does handle FluxDVD movies but for any other types the Slysoft and/or Elaborate Bytes software may not work. The Slysoft and Elaborate Bytes software is made to deal with commercial discs or the Burn to DVD purchases.

I don't see anything in the post that suggests the movies were downloaded illegally. There are legal sources that have movies available for download.

files downloaded off the internet (legal or not) are almost always in a compressed format. usually you will have to use some kind of recoding software, such as nero recode, to get it to the dvd format and burn to dvd.

im not sure if clonedvd can do this, but i dont believe it can.

a look behind the curtain please...

We could target this a little better if you would tell us where you are getting these downloads from and some other details about how, etc. ;)
