(The AnyDVD Forum is for DVD issues. Blu-Ray issues belong in the AnyDVDHD Forum)
Before posting about your problem, please do some of us a favour so that we can help you better. Follow the steps, and do/answer/provide information as completely as possible. The more information you provide the faster you get a solution.
Follow these steps, step by step (both Pre-steps and the Regular steps, which follow the pre-steps):
Section I. Pre-steps
i. Clean the disc. Simply because a disc plays fine and looks fine doesn't mean it is fine. DVDs can be defective right out of the shrink-wrap due to poor quality control during the manufacturing process.
ii. Remove packet writing software from your system, including Roxio's Directcd, Nero's Incd, Roxio/Sonic's DragtoDisc or Drive Letter Access, CyberLink InstantBurn, NTI's Filecd, etc. click this, and read fully. It's important that those filter entries do NOT appear in your registry at least to verify they are not interfering with processing the DVD.
iii. Check to see if there's an updated firmware version for your burner and your reader; see this example for instructions.
iv. Set your drive's region code if it's not set already. With some dvds and some drives, AnyDVD may not decrypt CSS unless your drive's region code is set properly. You must
exit Anydvd when checking. You set your drive's region code once, and with Anydvd you'll never have to change it again.
So what should you do if you see "Drive (Hardware) Region: 0 (not set!)" in Anydvd's status window?
Do this:
Insert a DVD and left click the tray icon. If the status of the drive is still "0" then repeat the steps above.
Section II. Regular Steps
1. Use the latest Anydvd release which you'll normally see as the top sticky in the AnyDVD(HD) thread. You may need to reboot after installing if prompted to do so.
2. Click the red fox icon on your system tray. Click "default". Click "ok". Insert the disc in your optical drive. Allow Anydvd up to 10 minutes to scan the disc before you open any other programs when inserting the original disc into your optical drive. Some computers take more time to scan some discs than other computers do, depending on system specs.
3. If you're NOT using CloneDVD2 and are getting "protection" errors then right-click on the fox icon on your system tray, and select "Rip video-dvd to Hard Disk". Choose your source and destination paths. Click "Copy", and wait for Anydvd ripper to finish. You can then import that rip into whatever program you want. This is an important step if the original disc contains structural protection.

4. Use the latest CloneDVD release which will always be posted as a stickied post at the top of the CloneDVD forum: http://forum.slysoft.com/forumdisplay.php?f=20.
5. Follow the steps from this link in order: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=476 (follow them step by step)
If you're using +R DL blank discs, I recommend using Clonecd: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=327
