Hi,
I have AnyDVD and AnyDVDHD and for the most part I don't have any problems. However I have some of the older RCE DVD's. Charlie's Angels R1being one of them and I am struggling to get past the RCE.
My Drive is coded as R2 as is AnyDVD default region and PowerDVD.
I have seen this in the FAQ
b) If you're still having problems, this is what you do
i. Right click the fox on your toolbar. Exit Anydvd
ii. Click start. Right click on "My computer"--->select "properties".
iii.Click on the 'Hardware' tab--->click the 'device manager' button.
iv. Open the dvd/cdrom branch---> right click on your optical drive
v. Click "properties".
vi. You should have a region tab. From there you can select a region.
vii. Select the region that matches the region on the disc
viii. Start Anydvd
ix. click the fox icon on your toolbar. Go to Video dvd--->settings
x. Change the default to match the region on the disc
xi. Click Ok
Is this the course of action that I should be taking or will it impair my ability to play R2 discs (the vast bulk of my collection)?
Thanks in advance for any help here.
