Ok, well... I am having issues with my computer freezing when inserting the disc at the quick launch screen. About half my games cause the computer to freeze at this time: Crysis, Gears of War, Command and Conquer 3, Oblivion, and probably more.

Hm, I had planned on copying my post from the "Games that do not work" thread for system specs, but is has apparently been deleted. I will post my specs when I have time.

This will have to be a XP 64 bit issues as I have no issues playing it on my system.

Negative I am running Vista Ultimate 64 bit and not getting these crashes so it's not exclusive to the 64 bit OS's. I am playing COD4 without any issues.

I don't have Crysis, Gears of War, Command and Conquer 3, Oblivion. I may try to get Crysis or Gears of War. As that sounds like my type of game.

Both games I was looking at seemed great but I will get Crysis today as that seems right up my alley.

Got Crysis great game so far by the way. The issue I have is it will make a profile and when you click on the Icon to start the game it just gives you a black screen then it shows the desktop again.

Note pad has the info from the protect disc ordeal. Can't upload the txt either too big it says. This is for Crysis. AnyDVD is off and there is no virtual drives either.

It says this repeatedly though

Scanning -> F:\AutoRunCD.exe

try turning on the log filter in protection id and scanning again, you might find the output is smaller for you.. also autorun isnt protected, its just digitally signed as you can see from the output... crysis is securom protected, only on the 2 exe's i think or maybe 1 exe and 1 dll..

"[2/23/2008 11:21:48 AM] Processor mask - 255"

that also looks wrong, the processor mask is a dword, not an integer...

I assume these issues are with v3.0.0.5?

Tried that on the securom and it will not still load off the profile.

@Matt yes Crysis seems to be an issue.

OK... for the first test can you please do the following.
Create a new profile, however when you get to step 4 of the profile wizard, select advanced options and the check "Disable game application management".
Finish creating the new profile and let me know how you go.
