hi. i have two which i am having trouble with, The New Devil in Miss Jones(2005) and Oral Assets featuring Vanessa Del Rio. I am using ANYDVD 6.3.1.5 and CloneDVD 2.9.1.5. Thanks for any help in advance

1. Use Anydvd 6.3.1.5: click http://static.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD.exe

You may need to reboot after installing if prompted to do so.

2. Click the red fox icon on your toolbar. Click "default". Click "ok".

3. If you use something other than Clonedvd, right click the red fox icon on your toolbar-->select "rip video-dvd to haddisk". Choose your source and destination paths. Click "Copy", and wait for Anydvd ripper to finish. You can then import that rip into whatever program you want.

4. Use the latest Clonedvd: click
http://static.slysoft.com/SetupCloneDVD.exe

5. Follow the steps from this link in order: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=476 (follow them step by step)

6. If you still have problems, then . . .

A. Upload the .zip to the fourms:

a) Ensure Anydvd is running.
b) Put the problematic original disc in your optical drive/reader. Wait for Anydvd to scan the disc.
c) Right click the red fox icon on your toolbar.
d) Select "Create Logfile"
e) Wait for Anydvd to create a log file.
f) A pop-up screen will appear. Take note of the location where Anydvd created the logfile and the logfile's name. Click "ok".
g) Go to your My Documents folder
h) You will see a zip file called "Anydvd_Info_titleofmydisc.zip" (or something similar; see step f)
i) When replying or posting in the Slysoft forums, look for the icon that looks like
attach.gif

j) If you don't see that paperclip icon, click the "go advanced" button. You should see that icon now. Click the paperclip.
k) A small pop-up screen should appear (if it doesn't please ensure your browser is enabled to allow pop-ups from the Slysoft forums)
l) Click the "Browse" button, and locate and select the .zip file you created.
m) click "upload"

B) State the full a)error message(s) you encountered (click "details"), b)tell us what program(s) you were using when you received the error message(s), and c) describe in detail what you were doing when you received the error message(s). What problem are you having exactly?

C) click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=5091 to see if your question has already been answered

hi. thanks for the tips. unfortunately i was still unable to do anything using AnyDVD 6.3.1.5 and Clone DVD2 2.9.1.5. i have uploaded the logfile for you to see. the error message i receive is as follows:
H/video_ts/vts_02_1.vob: read error
data error(cyclic redundancy check)
if reading the media has failed, please clean the surface and try again
(file 1 H:/video_ts/vts_02_1.vob 23 picturereader)

i have looked at the disc and it appears to have no blemishes of any sort. i wiped it carefully, reinserted it, tried again and failed.

again thanks in advance for any help you can give

Download Nero cd-dvd speed. It's a free program. Select the tab labeled "scandisc". Select the appropriate drive letter, and click "start". If Nero cd-dvd speed reports read errors, let us know.

And I am seeing read error in Anydvd's log file, which does seem to indicate a bad original disc, even if it plays fine.

Anyway, as I'm not overly familiar with potential protections on Adult dvds, I've sent James a private message concerning this disc.

I lean towards this being a bad original disc issue (but I'm not 100% certain).

Do what I and Drinklyeanddie have stated, but it may be best to wait to see what James says.

I definitely see some errors in the log file. It is possible to have a bad disc that doesn't have scratches on it so you not seeing any scratches doesn't necessarily mean the disc is "good". This disc has no protection so I don't see why AnyDVD should have a problem with it.

For the sake of checking something, what happens if you use CloneDVD w/o AnyDVD. Can you copy it then? If you cannot then the problem is most definitely not AnyDVD.

Here are just a snippet of the errors in the log files. I'm not posting all of the log.

I think it's a bad original disc, but I would wait for confirmation from James or peer.
