movie too large for blank dvd

I rented Open Season and copied to hdd with no problem (entire disk). I did not have any blanks at the time. Since then I returned movie. Now I have blanks, but it is too large. I'm usung Nero 6 OEM (worked with everything so far). Is it possible to remove extras and menus in attempt to shrink files to fit?
