Hello all,

I have some weird issues going on. I had an external LG drive and it would copy to my harddrive fine but then would not do the next disc unless I did a power cycle to the drive. So, I bought a new internal drive and when I start to rip the disc I get the same error, FileIO o, of course it is hard to reboot power to the internal drive every time. I have attached the logfile. I apologize in advance for any stupidity on my part that has caused this issue. Thanks

Set your Region on your Drive(s)

Drive (Hardware) Region: 0 (not set!)

no go...........or I am doing it wrong.........right clicked on My Computer...clciked on Manage...went to the drive and Select Region.....Set as United States (it was already set as Region 1) same issue.......Please help

Ok, I see where AnyDVD says region not set but I have it set on both DVD drives when I go under manage and also have set it in AnyDVD........is there anywhere else I need to set this or is it a bug with AnyDVD not picking up that the region is set? Thanks

1. i. Right click the fox on your toolbar. Exit Anydvd
ii. Click start. Right click on "My computer"--->select "properties".
iii.Click on the 'Hardware' tab--->click the 'device manager' button.
iv. Open the dvd/cdrom branch---> right click on your optical drive
v. Click "properties".
vi. You should have a region tab. From there you can select a region.
vii. Select the region that you're in
viii. Start Anydvd

2.
clbstor (system32\drivers\clbstor.sys), Version: 5.0.0.3004 (5.0.0.3004)
Company: Cyberlink Co.,Ltd.
Copyright: Copyright(C) Cyberlink Co.,Ltd.
Description: Cyberlink Storage Helper Driver (WindowsNT5.x)
FileVersion: 5.0.3004
ProductVersion: 5.0.3004

Uninstall CyberLink InstantBurn's packet writing software, and ensure clbstor no longer appears in your lower filters after rebooting.

If you can't figure out how to remove that filter, do this:

i) Create a backup of your registry
ii) Download imgburn. It's a free program: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
(it's also an excellent program imo)
iii) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Select "clbstor." Click "Remove Selected Filter". Click "ok".
iv) Reboot

I get the same error, FileIO

That's not the full error message.
State the full a)error message(s) you encountered (click "details"), b)tell us what program(s) you were using when you received the error message(s), and c) describe in detail what you were doing when you received the error message(s). What problem are you having exactly?

FileIO O D:\Video_TS.IFO

I have changed the region. Still same issue. I attached the new logfile. I inserted disc........right clicked on the AnyDVD icon.....clicked Rip Video DVD to Harddisk..........hit OK.......get the error. No other programs are running. Thanks

If this is a new log file the filter is still there:

At least one of the odd errors I saw in the log file is gone now, though.

Removed that...same issue......if I go to the external drive I get the error.........unplug the power from the external drive and plug back in and it works perfectly. Never works on the internal drive. I have attached the latest log file. Thanks

No. You haven't. The filter entry is still there.

Yes......removing it via control panel didnt cut it but from Image Burn did. Thank you very much

Spoke too soon! Issue back :-(..........It is doing Exactly the same thing the external drive does.........I rebooted the comp when I installed image burn and that is what let the drive work. So now my internal and external drive do not work unless I cycle power :-(....latest Logfile attached. Thanks

Then I'm out of suggestions unfortunately. Something on your system is likely interfering with Anydvd. Others here may have suggestions for you.

I never had this issue until I removed my dvd burner and installed the LG HD-DVD Blue Ray which never worked. So I added in the external which had this issue so i put an internal back in and same issue with that one too :bang:
