Looks like a defective disc / worn out drive? to me, I am certain it will not even play in this drive (with or without AnyDVD):

EDIT: Is this a Combo disc? I have two combo discs (last one "White Noise 2") which do not read in one of my XBOX360 drives, but work fine in another XBOX360 drive and a Toshiba stand alone player.

I did not specifically count this, but from posts on this forum it looks like this problem is more common for HDDVD discs than for Blu-rays. :)

HD-DVD combo discs are bad news. But if you consider that most people in the Anydvd HD forum are HD-DVD supporters, then it stands to reason that more people posting here are using HD-DVDs. Consequently, the frequency of people having problems with HD-DVDs should be higher than people having problems with Blu-ray discs, all other things being equal.

Yea, right, this is quite possible. It makes much sense.

EDIT: But on the other hand the number of people complaining about various software issues (e.g. "PowerDVD does not play" etc.) is more for Blu-ray, it seems.

I believe Amazon and DVD Pacific identify that title as a combo disc: was the reason I haven't purchased it (all those reports of combo discs having issues and I don't want the DVD version anyway).
