Nothing here. They must have been left overs from your 'other adventures'.

ProtoWall Shows that IP's coming in from HTTP port 80 and I just Logged in and just barely opened your site:disagree:... Maybe its only lowjacked from USA...

Anyhow I am a Adware/Spyware Pro and know that it isn't coming back off ping from my computer...

Every IP and all Internet activity coming to and from my computer is filtered and logged and I still receive these IP's from your Site...

Besides that I have tried 2 of my work stations computers with same result...

I don't have an IP Location Scanner yet so I don't know...

And what do you mean "Other Adventures"

My lists are from http://www.bluetack.co.uk/ :agree:

He's saying that when he comes to the SlySoft website and forum, the IP address 209.85.167.103 tries to connect to his machine. His IP blocker (Protowall) blocks this IP because the blocklist it uses (from the bluetack.co.uk website) includes this IP address (from the Peerguardian IP Database) as belonging to Paramount Pictures.

Interesting.

'other adventures' meaning torrents. They still try to connect to your IP even after you have stopped them. I doubt very much what you are seeing in your logs has anything to do with the Slysoft forum/website. I suspect your problem lies else where.

I checked this on my end.

Running WinXP SP2, Protowall 2.01 Build 9, and the latest blocklists (as of this posting) generated from the Blocklist Converter. I used "Level 1" and "Master Exclusions," configuring it so Permit Rules have the priority.

When I go to forums.slysoft.com, I get no blocks logged by Protowall.

When I go to www.slysoft.com, I cannot connect at all, Protowall blocks it with the following:

Code:
2007/12/23 18:09:57 [<-] BLOCKED [!] - Destination is Exodus Communications (Available Aggregates)Exod... (64.15.129.199) [Protocol: TCP - src: 4982 / dst: 80]
2007/12/23 18:10:00 [<-] BLOCKED [!] - Destination is Exodus Communications (Available Aggregates)Exod... (64.15.129.199) [Protocol: TCP - src: 4982 / dst: 80]
2007/12/23 18:10:06 [<-] BLOCKED [!] - Destination is Exodus Communications (Available Aggregates)Exod... (64.15.129.199) [Protocol: TCP - src: 4982 / dst: 80]
2007/12/23 18:10:18 [<-] BLOCKED [!] - Destination is Exodus Communications (Available Aggregates)Exod... (64.15.129.199) [Protocol: TCP - src: 4982 / dst: 80]

Looking at the blocklist file, Bluetack is currently blocking everything on 64.15.x.x. The full text is:

Code:
064.015.000.000 - 064.015.255.255 , 000 , Exodus Communications (Available Aggregates)Exodus Hostmaster

Why are they blocking this? Probably because the Bluetack Level 1 blocklist is, after all, a p2p blocklist?

Anyway, I get no messages regarding blocked IPs from Paramount Pictures, 209.85.167.103, etc.

As I said, it was probably just left overs. Plus those lists aren't exactly 'great'.

I don't use bittorrent or any other P2P Network... I am not insane you think I want the MPAA/RIAA after me...

The only reason I have Protowall installed is because I use the adware/spyware Bad porno lists and P2P to keep the hard drives I clean from auto activating crap connecting to out side nodes and screwing my computers...

Plus I have Nod32 Inet Security to help as well...

 Sorry about the argument its just I thought it rather suspicious that it only happened when I went to your site...

PS: Its not happening anymore...

I would probably chalk that up to a temporary DNS or nameserver issue, nothing to get excited about.
