problems with 1-click

I have been using AnyDVD with 1ClickDVD to backup my DVD collection. I did over a hundred DVD's without problems until installing the new release. Since then I have created several coasters trying to copy 3 different movies:

The Lookout
Hairspray
Blades of Glory

In each case I was using the 'Movie Only' option and in each case the beginning of the movie was missing from the copy. I was able to use AnyDVD ripper to copy the movies to my hard drive then use 1ClickDVD to copy just the movie from my HD to a DVD without problems.

Any others having this problem?

1. Cprx needs to be disabled if you're using Anydvd

2. If that doesn't work, you may need to use Anydvd ripper first--and then use 1-Click on that rip.

3. And if that doesn't work, then your issue is unrelated to Anydvd, and I recommend you post concerning your issue in 1-Click's forums: http://forum.lgsoftwareinnovations.com

That's not an Anydvd issue. Anydvd is functioning as intended. If you feel you should not have to rip first, then contact 1-Click or post on their forums: click http://forum.lgsoftwareinnovations.com/

4. And if you have had enough problems, consider using CloneDVD instead. :D

How does one enable/disable cprx ? Also, what does it do ?

I think at this point you may be best suited to posting in the 1-Click forums as I suggested earlier since your question pertains to the use and functionality of a 1-Click feature.

Cprx is 1-Click's feature/technology/programming that attempts to deal with structural protection issues and bad sector protection issues on discs. That feature is supposed to be disabled when using Anydvd.

As James suggested earlier if you don't want to rip first, you can try Clonedvd or Clonecd.

Hi :)
Welcome on board. :agree:
Start 1Click then right click on the 1Click window.
In the list you'll see Enable CPRx error correction listed. Click on it to disable. While you have this on show disable Enable Media Statistics Collection VSO.
With AnyDVD you don't need either.

CPRx just deals with new DVD movies which contain bad sectors or bad DVD structure. AnyDVD will have already done this & more.

As already mentioned.
If needing more help re 1Click, there are other sites more geared towards this. (Hint LGSI.com)
If having problems with programs intergrating in a way that runs logically on a par with AnyDVD/CloneDVD2 combo. Get CloneDVD2. :D
