No problem or error messages using clone dvd/ any dvd to make a copy of Lion King but it will not play in any dvd player or my computer. I have never ran into this issue. I even picked up another copy in case the original was somehow corrupted. I also burned it to the hard drive and then used clone dvd to rip it. Still didn't work. Any ideas? I have the latest versions as well.

Thanks

I have the latest versions as well.

Please always state version numbers.

1. Update to Anydvd 6.2.0.2: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=10074

2. a)Click the red fox icon on your toolbar.
b) Navigate to "Program Settings".
c) Click "enable logging".
d) Click "ok".
e) Put the problematic disc in your optical drive/reader.
f) Go to your My Documents folder
g) You will see a zip file called "Anydvd_Info_titleofmydisc.zip"
h) When replying or posting in the Slysoft forums, look for the icon that looks like
attach.gif

i) if you don't see that icon, click the "go advanced" button. You should see that icon now. Click the paperclip.
j) a small pop-up screen should appear (if it doesn't please ensure your browser is enabled to allow pop-ups from the Slysoft forums)
k) click the "Browse" button, and locate and select the .zip file you created.
l) click "upload"

3. Can you watch the original disc on your computer with Anydvd running in the background? Does the original disc play fine?

4. Check to see if there's an updated firmware version for your burner: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showpost.php?p=12794&postcount=10

5. What blank media are you using? Specify a) brand name b)type (-R, +R, -RW, +RW, RAM, DL, etc.) c)media code, d) capacity/size, e) batch codes/serial codes (often found printed on the inner plastic hub of the blank disc), and f)country (factory information would be great as well, if possible) where the media was made (look on the physical packaging; do not rely on programs to accurately give you this information).

If you don't know how to obtain media codes, you may find the following programs useful:

http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com and http://www.dvdinfopro.com/

6) At what speed are you burning your blank media?

1. Update to Anydvd 6.2.0.2: click http://sandbox.slysoft.com/beta/SetupAnyDVD6202.exe

2.
Changed firstplay: Jump directly to TitleMenu!

Disable "Remove annoying adverts and trailers". That feature doesn't work with all discs.

Click the red fox icon on your toolbar. Click "default". Click "ok".

3. With Anydvd 6.2.0.2 installed

a)Click the red fox icon on your toolbar.
b) Navigate to "Program Settings".
c) Click "enable logging".
d) Click "ok".
e) Put the ORIGINAL disc in your optical drive/reader.
f) Go to your My Documents folder

l) click "upload"

4. Don't use TDK. Use Taiyo Yuden (not Valueline) or Verbatim (preferably not made in India)

5. Don't burn at max. Burn at 8x or 12x

6. Update your burner's firmware: click http://forum.slysoft.com/showpost.php?p=12794&postcount=10

Update to Anydvd 6.2.0.2 and disable "Remove annoying adverts and trailers".

Now can you watch the original disc with Anydvd running in the background?

Do not use the "remove annoying adverts" feature with this disc then. That feature does not work with all discs. If you create a backup it should now work, provided you use decent blank media (Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim) and don't burn at max speed.
