1. Give us a full error message.

2. What blank media are you using? Specify a) brand name b)type (-R, +R, -RW, +RW, RAM, DL, etc.) c)media code, d) capacity/size, e) batch codes/serial codes (often found printed on the inner plastic hub of the blank disc), and f)country (factory information would be great as well, if possible) where the media was made (look on the physical packaging; do not rely on programs to accurately give you this information).

If you don't know how to obtain media codes, you may find the following programs useful:

http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com and http://www.dvdinfopro.com/

3) At what speed are you trying to burning your blank media?

4) a)Click the red fox icon on your toolbar.
b) Navigate to "Program Settings".
c) Click "enable logging".
d) Click "ok".
e) Put the original disc in your optical drive/reader.
f) Go to your My Documents folder
g) You will see a zip file called "Anydvd_Info_titleofmydisc.zip"
h) When replying or posting in the Slysoft forums, look for the icon that looks like
attach.gif

i) if you don't see that icon, click the "go advanced" button. You should see that icon now. Click the paperclip.
j) a small pop-up screen should appear (if it doesn't please ensure your browser is enabled to allow pop-ups from the Slysoft forums)
k) click the "Browse" button, and locate and select the .zip file you created.
l) click "upload"

1) WriteDVD 10 11 W2 is the error message

2) This media has always burned fine and i've tried about 10 different discs

3) Normally I let it choose in CloneDVD2 but I even backed it down to 2x

4) I no longer have the original disc as it was damaged. I made an .ISO of the image and thats how I now install the software

@ Tinytitan,

Suggest closely reviewing Forum Member Webslinger #2 posting and provide ALL the requested information specifically item #g

Your above quoted posting is incorrect. If you in fact you “Tried everything from the FAQ's” you would not be attempting to use your garbage Prodisc Technology Inc DVD-R Prodisc F01 Media. As suggested throughout the SlySoft Forums use known proven quality Media such as the recommended Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim Media.

Reguards,
Coaster

I understand that this is not the best media out there......but as I stated this same media has worked without a hitch on this laptop for over a year until I tried to install vista

and as for providing item g) I put that this isn't a disc, i'm using the CloneDVD 2 .iso burn feature.
